Smriti Aryal became the first representative-level appointee by UN Women for the country. Hailing from Nepal, she brings over two decades of international development and humanitarian experience, garnered from her work within and outside the United Nations. Her professional journey spans leadership roles in Myanmar, Bangkok, and beyond, where she served as UN Women's Regional Advisor and UNAIDS Regional Advisor, fostering partnerships with governments, CSOs, and the UN across 12 nations.
安思齐女士，是首位由联合国妇女署任命的代表级别的驻华国别主任。她来自尼泊尔，在国际发展和人道主义援助方面拥有22年的专业经验。其职业之旅更是遍布缅甸、曼谷等地，先后在联合国机构担任了多个重要职位，包括联合国妇女署缅甸办公室主任，驻曼谷联合国妇女署区域顾问和联合国艾滋病规划署区域顾问，以及联合国儿童基金会官员。她曾与至少12个国家的国家政府和地方政府、民间社会组织、和联合国机构开展过广泛的合作。
Jean-Marc Taton Jean-Marc Taton is a French citizen with a Master's degree in Chemistry from Trinity College in Dublin and a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie in France. He joined ExxonMobil in 1993 and has held numerous positions in the supply chain, sales, and marketing in France and the United States. He is currently the Chairman of ExxonMobil China and has relocated to Beijing. He serves on the board of the American Chamber of Commerce in Saudi Arabia and was recently appointed a AICM Advisory Board Member.
